The Witches’ Ball will take place in the McKittrick Hotel, which has gained notoriety for its theatrical experience Sleep No More, based on Shakespeare’s Macbeth. 2 .Village Halloween Parade

October 31

We think this is the best Halloween parade in NYC for a few reasons. Besides showcasing the diversity, artistry, and community that make up our beloved city, it’s also a very inclusive event! Anyone can participate just by showing up on time in costume.

This year is particularly special. For a while, it looked like the organization might not be able to fund the event, but some great folks stepped up and donated to the cause. Now, the organizers are dedicating this year’s event to the children of NYC who missed out on Halloween last year.

3. Halloween Kids Spooky Cruise

October 23-31

For something that is entirely family-friendly, consider the Halloween Kids Spooky Cruise by Event Cruises NYC. The boat leaves Pier 36 and returns in approximately 1.5 hours. During that time, costumed kiddos can trick or treat, meet costumed characters, and enjoy unlimited Halloween-themed candies. If you choose the premium admission, your child will receive a goody bag and a meal. It’s a great way to celebrate Halloween and see the NYC sights!
